At Gangaur Confectioner, we take great care in maintaining the quality, hygiene, and freshness of our products. As a responsible food business operating under Indian law, we follow a strict No Return policy for perishable items in accordance with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) guidelines.

Please read the following terms carefully before placing an order.

1. Products Eligible for Return or Replacement

Due to the perishable nature of our products, returns are not allowed except under the following specific conditions:

  • The item delivered is damaged, spoiled, or expired at the time of delivery
  • You receive a wrong item that does not match your order

In such cases, you may request a replacement or refund, subject to verification.

2. Reporting Timeframe

To be eligible for a replacement or refund, you must:

  • Notify us within 01 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photo/video evidence of the issue
  • Share your order details via email at gangaur.jh@gmail.com or WhatsApp/call at (+91) 9431114520

Requests made after 01 hours of delivery will not be entertained, as the product’s condition cannot be reliably verified.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable:

  • Sweets, bakery products, snacks, and other perishable food items
  • Products that have been consumed or tampered with
  • Items not stored as per recommended conditions after delivery

This policy complies with the FSSAI and Consumer Protection (E-commerce) Rules, 2020 which allow sellers of perishable goods to deny returns under hygiene and safety standards.


4. Refund Process

If your return request is approved, we offer the following options:

  • Full or partial refund to the original payment method
  • Store credit or coupon for future purchases
  • Replacement of the item, subject to availability

Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days of approval.


5. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can only be cancelled before preparation or dispatch begins.
  • Once the order is confirmed and processing starts, cancellation is not allowed.
  • For eligible cancellations, refunds will be processed after deducting any applicable gateway or packaging charges.

6. Delivery Issues

If your order was:

  • Not delivered
  • Delivered to the wrong address
  • Delayed beyond a reasonable time

Please contact us immediately. We will investigate the issue and take appropriate steps, including refund or redelivery, as applicable.


7. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Ranchi, Jharkhand, as per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
